Sandra “Sandy” Adams is the Founder of Friends Helping Friends Network, Inc., a community-driven organization created out of her own personal hardships and her firsthand awareness of the gaps that often exist in traditional support systems. Those experiences gave her a passion for changing the way help is given and for walking with people as they work toward lasting stability.
With more than 40 years of work and management experience, Sandy has dedicated more than 12 years to helping others become successfully independent. Through weekly accountability, budget guidance, realistic goal setting, and carefully tailored plans of action, Friends Helping Friends Network works alongside clients as they take their next best step.
As clients meet goals and make meaningful progress, many begin to rebuild self-confidence, self-esteem, and a renewed sense of independence. Sandy’s work is rooted in her love for the community and the people in it. She believes that when you are doing what you love, especially when it is done selflessly, it does not feel like work at all.
